We would like to invite you to an exclusive viewing of Tune Out the Noise, a video documentary of from Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA), who engaged Academy Award-winning filmmaker Errol Morris to help make this film. It is about the birth of modern finance and its impact on money management and investing.
Told through the stories of 15 people who were involved, the film captures how finance became a science and challenged the traditional methods of investing. It chronicles how this shift led to the invention of index funds, the founding of Dimensional, and the evolution of client-focused advice—all of which have ultimately benefited investors around the world.

Our guest speaker, Jenny Du, is Global Chief Operating Officer of Nuveen Real Estate, one of the top five largest real estate fund managers in the world.
Jenny leads investment governance and operations, performance, and data analytics, and plays a central role in strategic growth and business development initiatives globally. She is responsible for the connectivity and information flow across senior leadership and the broader Nuveen organization to support firm-wide initiatives and ensure the execution of Nuveen Real Estate’s business plans. As a member of Nuveen Real Estate’s Global Executive Leadership Team, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Previously, Jenny was Nuveen’s Global Head of Real Estate Product, where she oversaw the development of real estate funds and strategies and the implementation of client solutions across Nuveen Real Estate’s private equity and debt strategies. She also led the structuring of strategic partnerships, co-investments, and joint ventures. Prior to joining Nuveen in 2019, Jenny served at Ares Management, focusing on real estate product management and investor relations. She graduated with a B.A. in Economics from New York University.
